Asus Padfone Infinity official; packs 5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 600 CPU

Asus has officially announced a new Padfone device today at MWC 2013. Dubbed as Padfone Infinity, the device packs serious improvements over the last version.

Asus Padfone Infinity features Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5-inch full HD 1920x1080p display, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and 13MP rear camera.  It also packs 2MP front camera, usual connectivity options, and 2,400mAh battery.

The Padfone Infinity dock has also got upgraded. It now sports a 10.1-inch full HD display. Company has also pre-loaded several new apps on the Padfone Infinity like SuperNote 3.1 for note taking, Story for creating stunning photo albums and ASUS Echo for voice control.

“PadFone Infinity is the latest evolution of our PadFone line,” said Jonney Shih, ASUS Chairman. “It combines incredible design with an uncompromised user experience derived from our Design Thinking philosophy.”

ASUS PadFone Infinity and Infinity Station will be sold for £799 (inc VAT) in UK and 999 euros in rest of Europe beginning April.
