As we get closer to Mobile World Congress 2013, there is an expected increase in the leaks. Many of these leaks are coming from the companies themselves as they try and create hype for their upcoming smartphones.

The latest leak coming from China gives us another look at Huawei’s flagship model Ascend P2. Expected to come with a 4.7-inch FHD display similar to HTC’s M7, Ascend P2 will be an ultra-thin smartphone with just 6.45mm thick body.

The smartphone is also rumoured to pack a 1.8Ghz quad-core processor from Huawei itself, as well as 2GB RAM, 13MP rear camera, Jelly Bean and 8GB of internal storage. The phone will also come with a 2200mAh battery and is likely to be priced around 3000 yuan.

Company has already sent out invites for a February 24 event at MWC and we are expecting to see an announcement the same day. We are hearing rumours about a mini version of Ascend P2, which will come with a 4-inch 720p display, dual-core processor and Jelly Bean.
