Intex launches Aqua Wonder with Android 4.1 for INR 9,990

Intex has announced the launch of a new smartphone in its Aqua series today. Dubbed as Aqua Wonder, it will available be across India for INR 9,990. Packing the usual budget smartphone characteristic dual-SIM capabilities, Aqua Wonder runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Intex Aqua Wonder is one of the first under INR 10,000 Jelly Bean smartphones to be launched in the country. We have only seen one other Android 4.1 pre-loaded phone in this budget, that too from little known Byond.

Intex Aqua Wonder packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 8MP rear camera and 1800 mAh battery. The smartphone also features 3G support, 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and 1.3MP front camera.

According to Intex, Aqua Wonder also comes with features like Flip to mute option, dual microphones for noise cancellation. Company has also pre-loaded quite a few useful apps on the phone.

The smartphone will be competing with Lava IRIS 501, Micromax A110 Canvas 2 and Karbonn A21 smartphones. At the current pricing, the features of Intex Aqua Wonder sure look interesting.
