A leak from Japanese telecom operator NTT Docomo has revealed that we might see the launch of Xperia Tablet Z as early as next week. It was just 48 hours ago that we first heard about this alleged tablet from the Japanese manufacturer and we already have a semi-confirmation.

NTT Docomo is expected to showcase the tablet on January 23 and January 27 in its Smartphone Lounges in Tokyo. We are not yet sure about the exact date of the tablet launch, which should ideally happen before Docomo starts showing off this upcoming tablet in its Smartphone lounges.

The previous leak had suggested that Sony Xperia Tablet Z will come with a 10.1-inch 1920x1200p display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2.2MP front camera, Android 4.1.2, 6,000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, NFC and LTE connectivity.

It will also be water and dust proof and feature a design similar to Xperia Z with just 6.9mm thickness.
