Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is here, but still there are phones, which are just getting their Ice Cream Sandwich updates. Two such phones are now being relieved from their Gingerbread times to get the Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG Viper on Sprint US:

US telecom operator Sprint has started rolling out Android 4.0 OTA update for LG Viper, which was until running on Android 2.3. There is nothing much apart from the usual Ice Cream Sandwich goodness in this update. You can check out the full change-log below.

Huawei Ascend G300 on Vodafone UK:

UK telecom operator Vodafone has also started releasing OTA Ice Cream Sandwich update for Ascend G300 owners on its network. The update process isn’t really the way; you would expect it to be.

According to Vodafone, you will first need to install a smaller update, which will create the base for you to back-up your data as ICS update for G300 deletes everything from your phone.

You can find the full guide to install the ICS update on Huawei Ascend G300 on Vodafone Support.

The ICS update brings almost the same features as we have mentioned in the above LG Viper update.
