Archos announces ICS tablet – 80 Cobalt with 8-inch display, 1.6GHz dual-core CPU

French manufacturer Archos has added yet another Ice Cream Sandwich to its tablet portfolio today in the form of 80 Cobalt. Part of company’s Elements range, the tablet was revealed on company’s Facebook page.

Archos 80 Cobalt comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-inch capacitive display with 1024x768p resolution, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot.

On the imaging front, you will get 2MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front camera. Weighing 470 pounds, the tablet is 12mm thick.

There is no word on the pricing or the availability of this tablet, which are expected to be revealed on a later date.
