Samsung GT-B9150 with Exynos 5250 processor, Jelly Bean spotted

Samsung is reportedly going to launch a new Android smartphone with model number GT-B9150. The smartphone was spotted on a benchmarking website, which revealed its specifications.

According to benchmarking data, the smartphone will come with Android 4.1.1, a 1280x672p display (slightly odd, but we think display will be 1280x720p and there might be on-screen Android keys), a CPU clocked at 1.7GHz and Mali-T604 GPU.

The presence of Mali-T604 GPU makes us believe the smartphone will come with Samsung’s Exynos 5 Dual processor. Samsung’s Exynos 5 Dual integrates two ARM Cortex A15 cores running at up to 1.7GHz with a shared 1MB L2 cache. We have already seen the SoC in the recently announced Chromebook, which means the CPU is ready for mass consumption.
There are no other details about the device, but traditionally Samsung has kept the B-series of QWERTY devices, so there is speculation that this might turn out to be a slide-out QWERTY phone.
