Microsoft product manager Petr Bobek has reportedly confirmed the timing to a Czech site, while the existence of Android app was further confirmed in press release issued in Czech Republic, which states the following:
“In addition to Windows, Office will be also available on other operating systems, Windows Phone, Windows RT, Mac OS, Android, iOS and Symbian.”
Microsodt Office 2013 PC version is set for a consumer launch in February next year, further revealed the press release, which means, it will only take one more month to see the official Android app in Google Play.
Update: Microsoft’s lead of corporate communications has taken to Twitter to quash the Microsoft Office release date reports. According to him, the information shared by Czech office of Microsoft is not accurate. Here is his tweet.

Already many free apps are available at Google Play to operate Mcrosoft Office files.
“not accurate” perhaps as far as the date/time is concerned BUT could be true for later????
