For the first time, a source is giving a fixed announcement date, even though there is no way to check its authenticity. According to French newspaper Le Figaro, Google and LG will launch Nexus 4 on October 29, indicating that we might see the device at AllThingsD’s Dive into Mobile conference, which was being speculated for quite some time now.
The publication further states that it will be launched in France in early December. There is no word about the availability in other countries.
Rumoured to be based on LG’s Optimus G, Nexus 4 will reportedly come with Android 4.2, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 8/16GB of internal storage, no microSD card slot, wireless charging, 8MP rear camera and 4.7-inch display.
