Microsoft launches Remote Desktop app for Android

Microsoft has announced the release of Remote Desktop app for Android users. This app will allow users to access their Windows-powered computers on the go wherever they need it. The app can be downloaded for free from Google Play.

  • Rich multi-touch experience with remote desktop protocol (RDP) and RemoteFX supporting Windows gestures

  • High quality video and sound streaming with improved compression and bandwidth usage
