Advertisements

It might have been over three months since the arrival of Jelly Bean, but consumers are still in dark whether their tablet or phone will get the Android 4.1 update or not. We might not be able to clear everyone’s doubt right now, but at least Acer tablet users will know whether their Android tablet will get the Jelly bean update or not.

According to Acer, Iconia Tab A210, and Iconia Tab A510 will be getting the Android 4.1 update. Company has already started the roll-out for Iconia Tab A700, so adding that too to the list, it makes three  Android tablets from the company that will be getting Jelly Bean.

There is no word on the timeline for the update roll-out, so we should more soon.

Rest all other tablet will be stuck to their last Android release and won’t get any major Android updates, however some performance or bug fixing updates might arrive.

Acer had also launched their first Jelly Bean powered tablet Iconia Tab A110 to take on Asus Nexus S recently.
