HTC One X getting Jelly Bean update next month – report

Advertisements

It seems HTC One X users will not have to wait very long for the Android 4.1 update. According to a report over at Modaco, HTC is planning to release the update next month.

There is no word on the exact timeline but typically the unlocked units are first to get the update, followed by the carrier locked versions.  HTC aims to update all One X units to Jelly Bean by Christmas.

The report also indicates that the leaked and upcoming HTC One X+ will run on Jelly Bean out of the box.

HTC One X is currently HTC flagship Android smartphone with features like Android 4.0, Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera, front camera and 1GB of RAM.
