If you’ve yet to hear of the new Huawei Ascend D Quad XL, get ready to have your mind blown. The recently announced device, which has been touted as the “world’s fastest,” packs an in-house custom built quad-core processor that (from the look of the benchmark screens we just laid eyes on) makes the Asus Transformer Prime look like child’s play. Of course, we all know how much drama benchmark scoring creates in the community, but it’s always fun to have something to talk about around the water cooler, isn’t it?
These results are impressive, to say the very least. These tests were run by our fellow Android site in the United States, Android Community. As you can see, the new chip not only holds its own, but it leads the charts against stiff competition, including the likes of NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 and Qualcomm’s new and yet to be released 1.5 GHz dual-core S4 processor.

If this is what the future of mobile computing is starting to look like, I’m thrilled to be along for the ride. With technology like this, it won’t be long before our phones and tablets overtake a majority of desktop usage, which wouldn’t hurt my feelings a bit.

OMG Huawei has Blown the competition and left other dual cores in PAIN !!
ok.But there is no one application or game available in android which can utilize these demon processing power
The margin between this phone and the second best in the benchmarks is not huge though. Still it seems an impressive achievement.
