Google’s Nikesh Arora to replace Sanjay Jha as Motorola chief [Rumor]

There is an interesting rumor going around these days that Google SVP and Chief Business Officer Nikesh Arora will replace Motorola Mobility chief Sanjay Jha once the deal between two companies closes.

According to Business Insider, Nikesh who oversees all revenue and customer operations, as well as marketing and partnerships at Google has been “agitating” for a CEO role and was also in list of people for Yahoo CEO job recently. Giving him Motorola CEO slot is Google’s way of countering all this.

Google-Motorola merger is expected to close in Q1 and if this rumor is true then we will hear the official announcement soon after that.
