Samsung to launch 2GHz Exynos 5250 powered ICS tablet at MWC [Rumor]

Samsung might not launch Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress, but that does not mean it will be sitting quietly. According to a rumor coming Android&Me’s Taylor Wimberly, Samsung may introduce a 2GHz Exynos 5250 powered Galaxy Tab at MWC.

Surprisingly we haven’t seen any Samsung tablet related leaks recently and this rumor is first one to suggest a tablet launch at the event. However it is fairly possible that company will introduce a successor to Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Barcelona, considering the original was launched last year at the same event.

Coming to the rumor details, Taylor believes that this tablet will have a display bigger than 10.1 inch with a 2560×1600p resolution. It will run on Android 4.0 and feature the dual core 2GHz Exynos 5250 processor. Exynos 5250 features ARM’s latest Cortex-A15 CPU core with Mali-T604 GPU.

As nothing is official right now, we will have to wait for MWC next month to see what is actually going to be launched at the event, but this Galaxy Tab successor can surely be the hero device of the launch event.
