Motorola to launch RAZR Developer Edition with unlockable bootloader

Advertisements

Motorola is planning to launch a developer edition of its Android smartphones RAZR. A blog post citing the same went online a few hours ago but was taken down later. According to this blog post, Motorola RAZR Dev Edition will come with unlockable bootloader and will be available in Europe first. Dev version will feature the same specs as the retail version.

A variant for US consumers is also on the way, but there was no word for Asia. This blog post also had a link to pre-order the phone, but that is missing right now and we expect it to go live soon.

There is no word on the exact release date or the pricing, which we suppose will be same as the retail version.
