Nexus S available in India again, this time via Vodafone for INR20K

Advertisements

Want an Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone for INR 19,999, Nexus S is the way to go. Missing from the Indian market for quite some time, this Nexus device has re-appeared via Vodafone. Interested consumers can now purchase it from Vodafone stores across the country.

To remind you, Nexus S I9023 comes with 4 inch SC-LCD display, Android 2.3(upgradable to ICS), 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor, PowerVR SGX540 GPU, 5MP rear camera, front camera, 16GB internal storage, and 1500mAh battery. If you are wondering whether the Nexus S is locked to Vodafone, NO, it is not.

With ICS update already released, this is still one of the best Android phones to buy at this price. Some of you might get tempted for the dual-core phones like Galaxy R, Optimus 2X, which are retailing around the same price, but then you will have to wait for another three-four months for the ICS update.

No it’s not. The idiots are advertising on website and even their customer care says it’s there and when you go to the store they say it’s not.
