Vodafone to launch Nexus S in 24 countries

Vodafone today announced that it will be launching Google Nexus S in 24 countries around the world.  Nexus S is world’s first Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread powered smartphone, which has only been released in select markets till now including UK and US.

Patrick Chomet, Vodafone’s Group Director of Terminals, said: “It’s great news that our customers will very soon be able to get Google’s Nexus S direct through our stores. At Vodafone we work closely with our partners across the industry to offer our customers a leading smartphone range that includes the latest innovations in product and user experience.”

Nexus S features a 1 Ghz Hummingbird processor, 4 inch display, 16 GB Intenal Memory, NFC support, 5 MP rear camera with a front facing VGA camera.

Vodafone is yet to announce the list of 24 countries, but we are expecting India to be one of them. Vodafone Australia has already confirmed that it will be one of the 24 countries.

Plz somebody can help me with the launch of Samsung google nexus S in india i.e. firstly is it going to launch in india for sure ? & secondly on exactly which date it is going to be launch in india.
