Galaxy Nexus Australia launch on December 14

Samsung Australia is sending out invites to media for an event on December 14 in which it will be launching the much awaited Galaxy Nexus smartphone.

There is no other information on the launch in the event apart from the fact that Samsung Australia’s vice president of telecommunications Tyler McGee will be addressing the media at the event.

Galaxy Nexus is the first Android 4.0 smartphone and features 1.2GHz dual core processor with 5MP rear camera and 16GB of internal memory. We reported yesterday via Ausdroid that Optus might sell Galaxy Nexus starting December 20 in the country, which seems a lot possible now.
