Barnes & Noble to launch Nook Color 2 on November 7

If two sources of Nate Hoffelder at The Digital Reader are to be believed Barnes & Noble (B&N) is planning to launch its successor of color e-reader cum tablet Nook Color on November 7. Retailer is already working to create more space for upcoming variants of Nook in its stores.

Nook Color 2 launch might be accompanied by an e-ink variant of Nook to compete with the recent releases from Amazon.  There has been no official confirmation for either of the launches, but we have been hearing Nook Color 2 rumors for a while now and with Kindle Fire already in fray, B&N will have to step up its game and at least announce a device pretty soon. Otherwise, it won’t have any consumers to grab its devices.
