Asus PadFone to run on ICS, coming in Q1, 2012

Along with the Eee Pad Transformer Prime details, Asus Chairman Jonney Shih also revealed at AsiaD that his company will be releasing earlier announced PadFone in the first quarter of next year. This tablet and phone combination will be running on Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich.

The whole concept of PadFone is based on utilizing the resources of phone to power a tablet sized display (more on the device can be found here).

With ICS on board, Asus will easily be able to a seamless UI experience between both tablet and phone.
