It is expected to be released in last week of October, just before Diwali. Featuring Gingerbread and 1GHz processor, Xperia Active is dust and water resistant. It comes with 5MP camera, and 3-inch scratch-resistant display.
Company is also throwing one extra exchangeable soft touch back cover, Detachable ear hooks for the portable handsfree active headset and wrist strap along with an arm case with every unit of Xperia Active.
Update: Sony Ericsson Xperia Active is now available in India for INR19,900.

^^ agreed.. The 3” touchscreens are small in d new smartphones.. Gotta be atleast 3.5 or 4″
3” for me it’s quite ok, because the device is more compact and easier to take it with you in the great outdoors. BTW, i found a great blog for Xperia Active – xperia-active.com
