@yo!

Sid did get his facts right. He is talking about 2 phones : Neo V @ 17.5k and Walkman (Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman – comes with 3.2″ screen) for a cheaper price…

Read properly before jumping onto conclusions…

@nikhil: Exactly, Neo V doesn’t have any competition with this phone. It’s got same hardware, yet a different screen!

I like all the facts in active even the price but its not worth to have 1200 mAh battery, i think samsung s also doing rugged phone named xcover lets wait to see wat it did…

@Nitink This is a rugged phone, its top feature is not the screen, but the durability in the outdoors and the ANT+ compatibility. I would buy it only for that.
If you like to explore the phone more, this is a nice blog: xperia-active.com

if im not wrong ant+ is being implemented in CM7 for all xperia models once its done , everyphone should be able to do what xperia active does. 😀

@Yo u should read before , jumping to conclusions.

Airtel and Vodafone are lhcnuaing it here without any contract-based plans. That means, you dont have to stick with the same plan for 2~3 years. Thats how the biggies sell it for a reduced price in US. They can makeup the loss of discount with a 2 or 3 year contract.
