Samsung announces Galaxy S Plus Pink Ribbon edition, Galaxy Note sales start this month

In the bid to help the cause of Breast Cancer awareness, Samsung has partnered with Pink Ribbon Foundation. As a part of this partnership, this South Korea electronics giant has released a Pink Ribbon edition of Galaxy S Plus smartphone.

This special edition phone comes with Pink Ribbon logo on the back of the smartphone along with the €10 donation made to the foundation for every purchase. Samsung wants to raise €150,000 with the help of this initiative.

Samsung Galaxy S Plus Pink Ribbon edition is right now available for purchase in Netherlands.

Samsung Galaxy Note to go on sale starting this month

In other announcements, Samsung has disclosed that it will start the sales of recently announced Galaxy Note tablo-phone device this month with European countries. Several release events are scheduled in countries like Germany, UK, and France.  Company has also revealed that a LTE version of the Galaxy Note will be released in South Korea next month.

To remind you, Galaxy Note was first announced at IFA Berlin and features a huge 5.3 inch Super AMOLED HD display along with a 1.4GHz dual core processor and Gingerbread.
