Samsung announces entry-level Galaxy Y in India for INR 7,830

Samsung has added another Android smartphone to its growing Galaxy lineup today. Announced at an event today, Samsung Galaxy Y is an entry-level device for first time smartphone users and youngsters.  It made its global debut in August along with three other Galaxy smartphones, which are not still available in India.

Samsung India has priced Galaxy Y at INR 7,830, which is quite decent as it comes with nice specifications. It features Gingerbread, 832MHz processor, and 3 inch display with 320×240resolution.

Other Samsung Galaxy Y features:

  • 2MP camera
  • Bluetooth 3.0,
  • Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n
  • 7.2Mbps HSDPA
  • 1200mAh battery

Availability: Samsung Galaxy Y will be available in stores starting this week.
