Sony Ericsson seems to be leaving no stone unturned in becoming a major force in Android arena. After recently announcing the Android 2.3.4 update, company today confirmed to SoMobile that all the Xperia series phone that have been released in 2011 will also be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich.

Obviously there is no update timeline right now, but if company indeed sticks to its statement it will be more than enough. Ice Cream Sandwich is expected to be officially announced by Google in October or November.
