World thinnest smartphone NEC Medias might land in US

If you still think that Samsung Galaxy S II is the thinnest smartphone – no its not, NEC MEDIAS N-04C, which was launched in Japan way back in February this year is the world’s thinnest smartphone. Till now a Japan exclusive Medias, is now on its way to US, reported Nikkei.

The rumors of a possible international launch were rife in March but then nothing happened. But we think that this might we might actually see the smartphone stateside.

According to Techcrunch, US will see a tweaked version of the smartphone, which will probably give a miss to digital TV tuner, the e-wallet function, and the infrared port. To remindyou of the NEC Medias features, it comes with a 4 -inch LCD touchscreen with 480 x 854 resolution, Android 2.3, 5.1MP camera, a microSDHC card slot, and Wi-Fi.
