Acer has announced the launch of its Gingerbread powered Iconia Smart phone in India today. The launch was accompanied by Iconia Tab A500 and A100 release, which we have already talked about. Iconia Smart is a sleek long device, which would not interest everybody; even company is calling it 100% smartphone + 100% tablet putting it in the category of Dell Streak.
Acer Iconia Smart pricing has still not been disclosed but it will reach the retail stores sometime in June. It features 4.8 inch display with HXGA (1024×480) resolution, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 8 GB Internal Memory, HDMI port, DLNA support, 8MP camera with single LED flash and a 2MP front camera for video calling.
