Acer reveals Gingerbread powered Iconia Smart at MWC

Remember this Dell Streak cousin from Acer, which was first spotted last year at an Acer event. Well, Acer has made it official and named it “Iconia Smart”. Company is putting it in the same category of Dell Streak – 100% Smartphone and 100% Tablet.

Acer Iconic Smart features a widescreen 21:9 aspect ratio on its 4.8in screen with HXGA (1024×480) resolution. Other specifications include Android 2.3 ka Gingerbread, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 8 GB Internal Memory, HDMI port, DLNA support, 8MP camera with single LED flash and a 2MP front camera for video calling.

Company has not announced availability details or pricing as of now.
