LG to launch eight Android phones in Thailand this year

LG is seriously getting in some real Android action this year. Company is planning to launch not one or two but eight Android smartphones in Thai market. These smartphones will be of price range between Bt5,900 to Bt20,000, said LG Electronics (Thailand)’s Deputy Managing Director Alongkorn Chujit.

LG Thailand is also planning to spend Bt300 million to promote LG-brand mobile phones in the country. While we are not sure, which these eight devices are going to be, as company has revealed only a few smartphones till now this year, so we are expecting few more launches in the second half of 2011.
