Nakayo launches homephone with Android tablet

Japanese firm Nakayo is soon going to release a fixed phone with a detachable Android tablet. This 7 inch tablet can be used as separate device.

Consumer will be able to pick up a call and use handset to talk or go handsfree with a touch of button on tablet. This device supports the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and Android 2.2.

Nakayo device will feature Wi-Fi IEEE802.11b/g, 800×480 resolution, a USB port, a 0.3MP CMOS camera, and a microSDHC slot (32GB max) and go for sale in July this year.
