WooW Digital to launch Gingerbread tablet “The One” before Christmas

Japanese company Woow Digital is planning to launch an Android 2.3 powered tablet before Christmas in Japan. If it launches on schedule, it will become the first tablet to have Gingerbread. Woow Digital has made two Android 2.1 tablet till now, whose fate is unknown as much the company.

While Japan will be first to get it, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Europe will be next ones in line. Company is pricing it at ¥42,000 [$504].

Coming to tablet specifications, it packs some nice features on paper. nVIDIA Tegra 2 core, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of flash storage, 10-inch display [1024 x 600 resolution], Bluetooth, WiFi and WCDMA 3G.
