Samsung Galaxy 5 coming on Virgin Canada as Galaxy 550

The entry-level Samsung Galaxy 5 Android phone is making its way to Virgin Mobile Canada as Galaxy 550. It will exclusively available with the telecom carrier and will have an exclusive plan “Android Social 40 – 300”.

According to MobileSyrup, this Android 2.1 smartphone will be launching on November 20, and will come with 2.8” QVGA touchscreen, MSM7227-1 600MHz Processor, 3G, 2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 1200mAh battery, microSD card slot and FM radio.
