Samsung Korea to release FroYo update for Galaxy S & Galaxy A users tomorrow

Advertisements

Samsung Korea announced today that Galaxy S and Galaxy A users will be able to download Android 2.2 update for their smartphones starting Monday.

The update will start rolling out from 8 PM tomorrow. However, it is not known that the update will come OTA or as usual the Samsung Kies way. We are expecting it to come via Samsung Kies, so install Kies on your Windows machines now, if you have not already done that.

The update will bring several news features including Apps on SD card, Flash 10.1, speech-to-text function and more. Update will also install Social Hub on Korean Galaxy S series handsets as it was missing earlier.

Update: The Froyo update is now available, check http://kr.samsungmobile.com/notice/anycallpopup/froyo_up.jsp
