Waiting for Plant vs Zombies sequel, well it is coming soon. According PopCap Games, ‘Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time’ will be available sometime in July this year. The developer has also released a teaser, which does not really reveal anything about the game.Plants vs Zombies 2

The teaser is just a supercut of Plants vs Zombies fans and internet celebrities asking when the Plants vs Zombies sequel is coming. The video ends with the July 2013 time schedule as well as the new logo.

Will Google Babel be launched as Google Hangouts?

As Google I/O draws near, we are getting more and more rumours about the products expected to be announced at the event. One of such products is Google Babel – Google’s unified communication platform. A new rumour suggests that Google Babel might be released to the public as Google Hangouts.Google Hangouts

Google hires Noah Falstein as Chief Game Designer

To work on Google’s rumoured gaming service?

If Noah Falstein’s Linkedin profile is any indication, Google has hired him as the Chief Game Designer last month. There is no word on what this gaming veteran is working these days, but we think – he is probably a part of the team behind Google gaming service that was spotted in Google Glass APK tear-down.Noah Falstein

The APK tear-down suggested that Google is working on some kind of Apple Game Center and Amazon Gamecircle competitor, which will most probably be included in next Android version. We are not sure right now whether this gaming service will be released as a part of Android 4.3 or 5.0, however we would put our bet on 5.0.

Angry Birds Friends released in Google Play

Rovio has finally released the Android version of its Angry Birds Friends game in Google Play. The game was originally launched Facebook last year, which most of you would already know given the endless posts from Angry Birds Friends in your Facebook news feed.Angry Birds Friends

Angry Birds Friends is basically your normal Angry Birds but with a social twist. It allows you to participate in weekly tournaments and compete with your friends. Rovio also adds new levels every week to keep it interesting and competitive.

Twitter for Android updated, brings menu button back

Twitter has released a minor update for its official app on Android today. The update brings back the menu button, which was removed previously and users had to go to me tab and then choose settings or other accounts. This had become an un-necessary waste of time. We are glad that Twitter has realised the mistake and re-included menu button in the app.Twitter Menu Button

The updated now also includes support of newly added trends locations, which were recently rolled-out for the web users.

Redesigned Google Play store finally rolling-out

After a long wait, Google has started rolling-out the redesigned Google Play store the Indian market today. The new Play Store version is 4.0.27 and if you haven’t installed the new Play Store using an APK, it should appear on your Android device anytime now.Google Play Revamped

Vine Android app coming ‘soon,’ but when?

The popular iOS app Vine, which was acquired by Twitter last year, is getting ready to launch its Android version in Google Play. Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann told The Verge in an interview that Android app is coming soon, but did not give a specific time-frame.Vine app

Those of you not aware of Vine, it is a platform, which enables users to share six-seconds long video clips, similar to how Twitter enables users to share 140 character messages.

Google Play bans non-Play Store updates for apps

Google has added a new condition in Google Play Developer Program Policies, making self-updates by apps downloaded from Google Play a violation. This is not something unheard off and one recent example of such action was Facebook, which recently pushed an update to its official Android app directly and outside Google Play for select users.Facebook Self Update

From now on, if any application, which has been installed using Google Play, tries to push app updates outside Google Play, it can be removed from Google Play. So, developers be careful.
