Advertisements LG and Samsung have launched two Android devices in their home country. While LG Optimus Big is targeted to high-end smartphone buyers, Samsung Galaxy Gio will attract mid-range consumers.
Advertisements Samsung will launch the Galaxy S successor in its home market around 25 April, announced telecom operator KT. KT will be carrying the device on its network in the country, reported Reuters.
Advertisements Samsung is going to introduce another Android smartphone in the market. Dubbed as Galaxy Neo, it will be available soon on LG U+ in South Korea.
Advertisements Motorola is all set to launch its Android tablet Xoom in Taiwan and South Korea next month. While the tablet is already on pre-order in Taiwan, the pre-orders will start in South Korea early next month.
Advertisements SK Telecom and Sony Ericsson have partnered to launch sleek and sexy Xperia Arc Android smartphone in South Korea. Arc will be available in the country starting next month. Pricing and carrier subsidies are yet to be decided and will be announce closer to the launch.
Advertisements Word on the street is that LG is using the NOVA display in another Android smartphone with a bigger screen. LG Optimus Black was the first phone with NOVA display with 4 inch screen, but upcoming Optimus Big will have a 4.3 inch display.
