iQOO, a Vivo spin-off brand, has launched its iQOO 12 5G smartphone in India. The phone was initially introduced in China in November 2023 and has since debuted in countries such as Malaysia. It sits below the company flagship – the iQOO 12 Pro – in the lineup, which is yet to reach the Indian market. There is a lot to like about the iQOO 12, particularly on paper, and it will entice buyers who want a bang for their buck.
iQOO 12 price in India
iQOO 12 5G India pricing starts at Rs. 52,999 for the base variant featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The higher-end 16GB RAM variant with 512 gigs of storage will cost you Rs. 57,999. For a limited period, you can enjoy a Rs. 3,000 discount on the phone’s list price by paying through your HDFC or ICICI Bank credit or debit cards.
iQOO is also offering an additional Rs. 3,000 discount on iQOO 12 5G if you exchange an older working smartphone. If your older phone is from iQOO or Vivo brands, the exchange discount will increase to Rs. 5,000. In other payment offers, there is an option of no-cost EMIs of up to nine months.
The iQOO 12 sales open December 14, and it will be available in two colors via Amazon India.
iQOO 12 5G specifications
As mentioned earlier, there is much to like about the phone. It’s powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is the best you will get in any Android phone until at least the first half of 2024. Joining the Snapdragon chip is up to 16GB of RAM, enough to keep the phone snappy for years.
