Jabra has launched its Elite 85t earbuds in India, over two months after their debut in Europe and the US. Jabra Elite 85t TWS earbuds are priced at Rs. 18,999 and will go on sale beginning December 1. The new Jabra earbuds will initially be offered in just the Titanium Black colour option; however, the company plans to add more colours by January 2021. The Elite 85t will succeeds the company’s Elite 75t earbuds in the country that are currently sold around Rs. 11,000.
Jabra Elite 85t features
Jabra Elite 85t are the company’s first pair of earbuds to come with active noise cancellation (ANC), a feature that it has also brought to Elite 75t and Elite Active 75t via a firmware update. The company has included a chip dedicated to ANC that allows it to offer 11 levels of noise cancellation from full ANC to full transparency (or as Jabra calls it full HearThrough).

Among other features, the Jabra earbuds include 12mm drivers, and can last up to 5.5 hours on a single charge with ANC turned on. The charging case can be used to further top up the power to take the total playback to 25 hours with ANC and up to 31 hours without ANC. The charging case using USB Type-C port for charging and also supports Qi wireless charging standard. The Jabra Elite 85t are also IPX4-rated protection for water-resistance, and in fact the company gives two-years extended warranty for any damage from dust or water. There are a total of six microphones in earbuds for calls.
The Jabra earbuds can work with both Google Assistant and Siri, depending on which smartphone you use.
The Jabra Elite 85t will be going against Apple’s AirPods and AirPods Pro as well as Bose QuietComfort earbuds in the country.
