Huami, the company behind Xiaomi’s Mi and Redmi-branded wearable products, is getting ready to announce new smartwatches as a part of its own Amazfit brand. Amazfit has grown over the last couple of years as a credible wearable brand that consistently offers quality smartwatches and smart bands. It is now getting ready to unveil Amazfit Pop Pro and Amazfit GTS 2 Mini smartwatches on December 1. Both the smartwatches are variants of the existing Amazfit Pop and Amazfit GTS 2 smartwatches.

Not many details are available about both smartwatches at this point; however, as per a teaser Weibo post shared by Huang Wang, CEO of Huami, the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini will be thinner, lighter, more refined, and smaller than the GTS 2. The accompanying video also offers a look at the upcoming watch, including its three colour options and square frame with curved corners. A heart-rate sensor can also be seen the back of the smartwatch as well as a crown on the right side. There don’t seem to be any other buttons or crowns.

While the design of the Amazfit Pop Pro is not entirely revealed right now but we have more feature-specific details about the smartwatch. As per a teaser on Weibo, the upcoming smartwatch will feature a 1.43-inch screen and a square dial with curved corners, similar to GTS 2 Mini and Amazfit Pop. It will also come with NFC support, GPS, a heart-rate sensor, sleep tracking, and over 60 sports modes for fitness and activity tracking. All the teased features seem to be exactly the same as Amazfit Pop, except the GPS. It remains to be seen which other new tricks the Pro model has up its sleeves.

To recall, Huami Amazfit GTS 2 was launched in China in September alongside GTR 2, and got its global debut in October. Amazfit Pop, on the other hand, made its China debut in October and is yet to be released globally.
