Acer announces Iconia One 8 B1-830 & Iconia One 7 B1-760HD tablets

While Asus has plenty to showcase on the Android front at the Computex 2015 trade fair, which officially opens June 2 in Taipei, Acer will just be demoing two new Android tablets. Announced in a pre-event press release, the new Acer Iconia One 8 (B1-830) and Iconia One 7 (B1-760HD) tablets will be available in the coming months.

Acer hasn’t shared pricing or exact availability details, but we might hear from the company during the Computex.

Coming to the details, the Iconia One 8 model runs on Android 5.1 and comes with Acer Precision Plus technology, which supports writing instruments as fine as a pencil on the tablet screen. The tablet is powered by unnamed MediaTek octa-core processor and sports an 8-inch display.

On other hand, the One 7 tablet features a 7-inch HD IPS display and will be available in multiple colour options. Other specifications of both tablets are a mystery at this point, but we are trying to get more information and will be update this reports as soon as we have more.

In addition to these two Android slates, Acer has also unveiled the new Chromebox CXI2, which packs Intel Core i3 and Celeron processors, 16GB SSD, a maximum of 8GB DDR3 RAM, and Wi-Fi/ Ethernet support.
