Indian smartphone vendor Micromax has started teasing the upcoming launch of its new Canvas Doodle 4 smartphone. Although the company has not revealed any details about the device specifications or its availability, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom is stating that Canvas Doodle 4 Q391 will retail at INR 9,999 (MRP).

The retailer also notes that the new smartphone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop and sport a 6-inch 720p HD display. In addition, the smartphone will reportedly come with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot.

The Micromax Canvas Doodle 4 will also pack 8MP primary camera, 2MP front shooter, 3000 mAh batter and the usual set of connectivity options. You can also expect to see stylus support as traditionally all Canvas Doodle phones have supported the feature.

As the name suggests, it will be the fourth Doodle-series smartphone from the company.  The company had launched the original Canvas Doodle in 2013, followed by Canvas Doodle 2 the same year and Canvas Doodle 3 in 2014.
