Samsung seems to be planning to expand its Galaxy J-series with the launch of two new smartphones. Dubbed as Galaxy J5 and J7, the smartphones have been spotted in the Chinese telecom regulator TENAA’s database, which has revealed the key specifications and images of these phones. J-series right now includes only one phone – Galaxy J1.

According to TENAA, Galaxy J5 and J7 will feature Android 5.0.2, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot. J5 will sport a 5-inch HD screen and will be powered by 1.2GHz octa-core processor, while J7 will come with 5.5-inch HD display and 1.4GHz octa-core processor.

Both smartphones will support 4G LTE, NFC and other usual connectivity options.

There is no word on the release date or pricing at this point, but the TENAA certification indicates that these phones will be arriving soon.Samsung Galaxy J7
