Google Chromecast reaches Malaysia, priced at RM170
Google’s Chromecast is less than three months away from its second anniversary, but that hasn’t stopped the company from introducing it in new markets. After all, Chromecast continues to be a great budget streaming dongle for the consumers.
Google has now launched it in Malaysia, and it can now grabbed exclusively from select Maxis stores in the country. Chromecast will reach all Maxis stores by May 5.

Xiaomi launches Mi 4 3G in Malaysia
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has changed its mind about not-bringing Mi 4 smartphone to Malaysia. The company has partnered with Mont Asia – a local distributor, to launch the smartphone in the country.
Mi 4 16GB 3G version has been priced at RM 1,199 and will be available via roadshows and Mont Asia’s various distribution channels. [Source: Xiaomi]
Asus Zenfone 2 US launch event on May 18
Asus is finally ready to bring Zenfone to North America. The company has announced that it is hosting a press event on May 18 in New York to detail North American availability information of the Zenfone 2 smartphone.
To remind you, Zenfone 2 feature 5.5-inch full HD display, quad-core Intel Atom processor, upto 4GB of RAM, upto 128GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and Android 5.0.
Meizu MX4 Pro getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update
Chinese smartphone vendor Meizu has released the over-the-air Android 5.0 update for MX4 Pro smartphone. The update is available as a part of the Flyme OS 4.5 for the smartphone.
You will automatically get a notification on your phone about the update, however if you don’t want to wait, you can go to Tools > Upgrade > Phone to manually look for update.
