LG on Thursday announced that its second curved-screen smartphone G Flex 2 is now available in the Indian market. The phone carries a price-tag of INR 54,990 and can be grabbed from major physical stores as well as e-retailers like Flipkart.
Originally launched on March 18 in the country, the phone was supposed to go on sale in late-March, but it seems LG took its sweet time to release the G Flex 2 in the country.
To remind you, LG G Flex 2 features a 5.5-inch full HD P-OLED display, 2.0GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and microSD card slot. Other specifications of the phone include 3000 mAh battery, 13MP rear camera with laser auto-focus, & OIS+, 2.1MP front shooter and 4G LTE support.
On the software front, G Flex 2 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and includes software tweaks like Gesture shot, Gesture view, Glance View, and Fast Charge.
According to LG, the smartphone also sports a self-healing back cover like its predecessor and it has been able to reduce the healing time to just 10 seconds at room temperature.
