A week after going on pre-order in the country, Motorola’s new Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G smartphone is now available at e-retailer Flipkart. The phone carries a price-tag of INR 7,999 and is being offered in Black and White colour options.

The 4G Moto E is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 processor and comes with 4.5-inch qHD display, 1GB of RAM, Android 5.0 and 2390 mAh battery. In addition, Motorola has included 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera and VGA front shooter in the phone.

It joins the already available 3G version of the phone in the country, which is sold at INR 6,999 and packs almost the same specifications apart from an inferior processor.

Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G will be competing with its parent firm Lenovo’s A6000 Plus smartphone in the country. A6000 Plus is set to go on sale later this month and packs better specifications than the Moto E at a lower price-tag. The only problem with A6000 Plus is the older and bloated version of Android present in the phone.

In related news, Flipkart is running several launch day offers for the Moto E 4G buyers.
