Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G to retail at INR 6,999 in India

Motorola’s newly announced Moto E (2^nd Gen) smartphone is coming soon to the Indian market and as you can expect, it will be exclusive to e-retailer Flipkart, but what everyone is wondering about is the price of the phone. According to a video published by Motorola Mobility on YouTube, the 3G version of the phone will retail at INR 6,999 in the country, same as the last-gen Moto E, which is now available for INR 5,999.

Motorola India has already confirmed in a tweet that India will be getting the dual-SIM version of the phone. Now, the only thing that remains a mystery is whether the company will release the 4G version of Moto E (2^nd Gen) in the country, which is a more powerful smartphone, thanks to the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor on-board instead of the 32-bit Snapdragon 200 in the 3G version.

To remind you, other features of the new Moto E include a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 2390 mAh battery, Android 5.0, 5MP rear camera and VGA front shooter.
