Taiwanese manufacturer Acer on Wednesday introduced its first Chrome OS all-in-one (AiO) desktop line-up in the form of Acer Chromebase series. The first model in this Acer line-up is a touch-enabled AiO, which comes with a 21.5-inch 1080p display.

“The touch-enabled configuration of the Acer Chromebase is the industry’s first all-in-one Chrome OS desktop with touch display, continuing Acer’s leadership in the Chrome OS market after launching the first 15.6-inch display Chromebook and fastest-performing commercial Chromebook. According to the latest data from Gartner, Acer Group is currently the world’s leading Chromebook brand with over 36% market share in 2014,” Acer wrote in a press release.

The Acer Chromebase AiO is powered by NVIDIA Tegra K1 quad-core processor and comes with HD webcam, HDMI out, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 ports as well as Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. Other specifications of the desktop will include upto 4GB of RAM, and 16GB SSD.

The company hasn’t shared the pricing details at this point, but it has revealed that Acer Chromebase will be available in North America and Asia-Pacific in Q2, 2015.
