The smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with Gorilla Glass 3, 1.3GHz quad-core processor (MediaTek likely), 1GB of RAM, and 2000 mAh battery. In addition, Micromax has included 8GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, dual-SIM support in the Canvas Fire 4. On the imaging front, the smartphone packs 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 2MP front shooter.
Micromax has also noted that Canvas Fire 4 comes with dual front speakers as well as Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) for audio processing needs, thus it will offer great audio experience.
At the given price-tag, the phone will be competing with the likes of Android One smartphones, which recently started getting Android 5.0 update, Lenovo A6000 and Asus Zenfone C.
