According to ZTE, Eyeprint ID works by imaging unique vein patterns in the eye using the front camera of the phone.
Among other specifications, the phone features a 5.5-inch full HD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4. The phone also packs 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 3100 mAh battery and 4G LTE support.
In addition, ZTE has included 16MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 8MP front shooter and the usual set of connectivity options in the phone.
ZTE Grand S3 is already on sale in China or 2999 yuan ($478). There is no word on the international release right now.
