ZTE has added yet another Intel-powered smartphone to its Android line-up. Dubbed as Grand X2 In, the smartphone is a successor to the company’s previously launched Grand X In smartphone, which was launched last year with Intel Inside as well.

ZTE Grand X2 In is powered by Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core Clover Trail+ processor, which is also present in Lenovo’s K900 and ZTE Geek smartphones. Other features of Grand X2 include 4.5-inch 720p HD display, and Android Jelly Bean.

The phone also packs 8MP rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and 2,000 mAh battery. The company has pre-loaded its My-Pop feature on the smartphone, which helps in one-hand operation of the phones.

“We are proud to announce the ZTE Grand X2 In smartphone pursuing our multi-year strategic collaboration with Intel. The ZTE Grand X2 In is set to build on the success of the ZTE Grand X In, our first flagship smartphone in Europe to feature Intel Inside, and further increase ZTE’s growth in the high-performance smartphone market segment,” said William Chhao, Terminal Director at ZTE France.

The phone will go on sale in Europe some time in third quarter of this year. Pricing or availability details for other regions are unknown right now.
